Revitalizing this 2000s tract home called for a strategic design approach aimed at transforming the building envelope. Our vision centered on eliminating window dividers to usher in expansive, unobstructed ocean views through generously proportioned glass panels. Introducing a cutting-edge 4-leaves bi-fold door featuring low iron glass on the terrace, along with a sophisticated motorized awning roof, adds both shade and architectural finesse. Furthermore, extending floor tiles seamlessly from indoor spaces to the outdoors ingeniously transforms the terrace into a natural extension of the living room, creating a harmonious blend of indoor comfort and captivating outdoor vistas.

We ingeniously removed the wall separating the living room and staircase, installing a contemporary peninsula fireplace in place of the original. This thoughtful adjustment not only created a captivating new focal point within the open space but also infused natural light into the once dimly lit staircase leading to the lower level. The outcome is a seamless fusion of modern design elements and enhanced spatial brightness.
