Robotic Ceramic

This project invented a fabrication method through combining a robotic arm and a potter’s wheel. The processes of manipulating a potter’s wheel by human hands were abstracted into a series of fundamental movements that were translated into the robotic demands. This method allows a mass-production for parametric forms in ceramic.
